Bio

Sophia Psiakis has loved being on stage ever since she was 5 years old and recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in acting. Their most recent credits include Charlotte’s Web (Lurvy/Assistant Director), For the Love Of … (Or the roller derby play) (Michelle), and Head Over Heels (Pamela) at MSU. Sophie also has a passion for TYA and loves teaching children how to express themselves with theatre! She is a part of Michigan State’s Sense-Ability ensemble, a group that creates and tours musicals designed for neurodiverse audiences. Their newest show is What if Wilhelmina, where Sophie carries around a large cat puppet that goes on adventures. Sophie has also worked as a teaching artist intern at the Seattle Children’s Theatre. They love singing, doing crafts, and spending time with Katara, their perfect cat. An ideal day for her would be full of acting, knitting, and sitting with Katara.
