Don’t miss it – there’s one final weekend of performances of the show that’s receiving across-the-board raves from reviewers, and standing ovations from our audiences.
Hope, Promise Pass Through the Blue Door
At Williamston Theatre, the cast and crew of Blue Door capture the late-night clarity of an insomniac’s struggle in their incisive and haunting production of Tanya Barfield’s play. It’s a journey beautifully depicted by the team at Williamston Theatre. While many of the images in the story are violent and painful, the play ends on an uplifting note that chimes hope for the human spirit.

From the Rogue Critic…
Tanya Barfield’s script for Blue Door is beyond ambitious, taking on themes of race and identity in concert with issues of ancestry and origin. Cemented by intense performances and Suzi Regan’s thoughtful direction, the Williamston Theatre’s production is a luminous mingling of personal identity with personal history, and the case of a man who desperately wants to cut one off from the other.
