Bio

Isabella Silos (she/they) is a dancer, choreographer, costume designer, and multidisciplinary artist. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Central Michigan University, double majoring in Dance Studies and Theatre & Interpretation with a minor in Entrepreneurship. While in college, she participated in the Disney College Program, working on shows such as Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage and A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas. She was also a soloist in the award-winning dance film Legado, which received Best Art Film at the Athens International Film Festival.

Isabella is currently a company member, social media manager, and costume designer/constructor for Happendance in Lansing, MI. She is also a company member with Fun Girl Dance Company in Ypsilanti, MI and works on a project basis with Triple C Tap Collective in Ferndale, MI. Her recent costume design and construction for dance credits include Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Blue (Happendance), Young and Menace (Jackson School of the Arts), Echoes of a Changing World (Happendance), Life (CMU Theatre and Dance), and 517 (CMU Theatre and Dance).

Her movement style blends modern and street dance with detailed musicality, guided by a belief in shared humanity and inclusivity. With a strong background in costuming, Isabella uses design as an extension of movement to challenge norms and deepen storytelling, aiming to bring abstract meaning to everyday experiences.
