In the Gallery for Murder For Two
The Cracked Pot Tour

The Williamston Theatre Gallery was established during our first Season in 2006 with a clear mission – to showcase the work of local area artists and give them an opportunity to sell their work for a fair price. Work featured in the gallery is often thematically related to the work featured on our stage, and a portion of the sales comes back to benefit the Williamston Theatre. Visit our gallery whenever you come to the Williamston Theatre, as the exhibits change with each production. Thank you for being lovers of art.

Call to Artists

The Williamston Theatre is accepting submissions for upcoming solo and/or group exhibitions for its 2016-2017 Season. All exhibitions are 5-6 weeks long and coincide with the productions running on the main stage at the Theatre. Most exhibitions are dedicated to one or two artists, but two productions this season are designated as open exhibitions, to open the opportunity to exhibit to more artists.

About the Williamston Theatre

The mission of the Williamston Theatre is to produce professional, live theatre for, by, and about people in this region of the country. We are an Equity Theatre and operate year-round, mounting six productions each season. The 2016-2017 Season is the 11th Season in operation. The Williamston Theatre attracts over 10,000 patrons to its shows annually, with each production attended by an average of 1,750 patrons. More information on our productions and our history is available on our website.

Gallery Exhibition Space
The Williamston Theatre Gallery is located in the rear lobby of the Theatre. The rear lobby is also the location of the public restrooms, so most patrons visiting the Theatre go through the Gallery. The Gallery exhibition space is approximately 432 square feet with 65 running feet of wall space. The track lighting in the room is only minimally adjustable. Mounting of pieces can be directly into drywall with nails, or hung on a track system. We cannot accommodate sculpture unless it can be hung on the wall.

• Artists must have a Michigan residence.
• Artists must be 18 years of age or older.
• All artwork must be original art of the artist’s own design and creation.
• Artwork must have been completed within the past 3 years.

Artwork exhibited is not required to be for sale. If the artwork is for sale, the artist must determine the retail price. Payment will be made directly from the purchaser to the artist. The artist is then required to pay the Theatre a 30% commission on the sale.
