Oedipus
By Sophocles
January 27 - February 20, 2011
Directed by Tony Caselli

The classic Greek tragedy about providence and destiny. Oedipus journeys through life, attempting to outrun a foretold prophesy only to land right in the hands of fate. Five stellar performers bring the story to life as the intimate Williamston Theatre space is theatrically expanded to hold this epic and stunning tale of the ages. Featuring Sandra Birch, Barton Bund, John Michael Manfredi, Brandon Piper and Jamie Weeder. Many thanks to Verizon, our partner in the Williamston Theatre School Day Matinee Program. Their support is allowing dozens of local area high school students to see Oedipus for free.
